Baby is 4 months 3 days old and was having constipation problem so I consulted doctor last week and gave dulcoflex tablet to keep for baby to poop again same problem for baby till 4 days baby didnt go for motion and was passing gas with smell so do I need to keep the tablet again. will it affect baby?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. no need to give any medicine to the child if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid
Stool- it is very common and normal for small children who are less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also and if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour of stool
