Nowdays cough and cold episodes are mostly viral in origin which may subsides by 3-9 days.no need of medication if it is mild.give steam inhalation to baby.also give nasal decongestant drop(nasivionbaby nasal drop/otrivin p nasal drop 1 drop in each nostril 3-4 times a day for 3 days.
