#asktheexperts when does babies start saying consonants like maa baa paa ? my son is 5 months 20 days old, he is not saying consonants.. only gaaa he says and angaaa

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. yes he screams when excited and making different sounds with different pitches. mostly he will say vowels like aaa, uuu, hoo like that.

As baby is 5.5 months now they mostly screams when ever they feel excited, giggles , responding with sounds, excited when known persons greet...
