A. At 8 months, it’s common for babies to babble and experiment with sounds, but not all babies reach this milestone at the same time. If your baby is making cooing or babbling sounds like "ba," "ma," or "da," it’s a good sign of normal development. Encourage him by talking, singing, and repeating simple words like "Mama" or "Baba" during playtime. Use gestures and make eye contact to help him associate sounds with meanings. However, if he is completely silent, not making any sounds, or seems unresponsive to sounds or voices, it’s best to consult a pediatrician to rule out hearing or developmental delays. Patience and consistent interaction are key!
