A. giving him a few sips of water with the help of spoon, couple of times a day can be allow after 6 month. (no more than 1 ounces per day.) offer small amounts of cooled boiled tap water only, You may start with a sippy cup, spoon, or bottle feeder. Initially they won't take more than a few sips from a cup or bottle at a tim, and that's fine, because they don't really need it.
