#asktheexperts one of the ayurvedic doctor said boys should be given salt while giving food below 1 year due to some reasons but am not clear about it . Can you please clarify on it

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello babies up to 12 months should not consume any salt at all. This is because a baby's kidneys are not as strong as adults and will not be able to process it out. Therefore, this may lead to kidney damage which can be a lifelong problem.
