#asktheexperts my son is suffering from cold with a stuffy nose .he is irritating and rubbing his nose and coughing.plz advice.

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. This must be Vira infection or allergy induced illnes. You must sooth kid's throat with Luke warm water,honey.add ginger, tulsi leaves in food. May give Alex junior syrup. In case heavy cough that impairs kid's sleep and play please consult physically.

I would suggest you too please speak with your pediatrician regarding the medication for your little one apart from this as a home remedy I would request you to take one tablespoon of ajwain one page patta and 4 to 5 long on the tawa and roasted till the turn black then put it in a cotton handkerchief make a potali of it and give the worms of this to the childs chest and back you can also keep it near the pillow of the child in case the child is not ready to take the warmth of this particular potali it is very helpful in melting down the congestion from nose chest and head
