Q.

#asktheexperts My second baby is 24 days old and not gaining weight. She is exclusively breastfed. She sleeps well and urinates 4-5 times after each feed, but is not gaining weight. Is this normal, or should I consult a pediatrician?

A. Hello my dear parent! Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration and weight gain. There should be a minimum weight gain of 400 to 500 g per month. Consult your doctor for further assistance in this regard.
