#AskTheExpert Hello Dr. my 3 month old baby boy was gaining weight well in first two months...but not much in 3rd month. he was born 3kgs ... gained apprpx 1 kg in first month , 600 gms in second month and only 300 gms in 3rd month. He is 3.5 months old now and weighs 5.6 kgs. He is being breastfed exclusively . Is it ok for weight gain to decline ?

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom The weight of your baby is perfectly fine. so no need to worry. little weight here or there is not a matter of concern. Ideally the weight gets double the birth weight by five months. take care and all the best
