#asktheexperts My child gets frequent cough cold and his weight is also less 16 kg we have tried many medicine but no use even if he eat or drink cold thing immediately fever happens please suggest what to do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
algjong with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

I think your child could be suffering with some kind of an allergy because this kind of an issue only persist when the allergy is there so I’m going to recommend you to kindly get a check with your doctor for an allergy to figure out what it is and accordingly they can help you with right treatment for that
