Q.
#asktheexperts My boy is 3 year 4month old.He have cold and cough since past 20days.We gave him antibiotics and cold cough syrups ,after that he is fine.But again it starts.Now again we ask to our family doc and we r giving him medicine.But our family members have doubt that weather in this cold cough type condition should he sleep in AC room with 26-28 degree Celsius or with fan.Please suggest doc. which one is better for his cold?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection obr seasonal flu where most of the time supportibve treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergicb medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
