Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 3 month old,she refuses to to breastfeed when awake,only feeding when she is in sleepy state . she used to feed well at the time of birth and it’s been more than 1 month of this problem and I having nipple pain we’ll breastfeeding Should I go for lactation consultation??

A. dear mum , as baby grow n explore environment get easily distracted so may feed more frequently in sleep feed in calm place pain can b due to improper latch at time of latch baby mouth shd b wide open , macimum possible areola of breast shd b in baby mouth lower lip shd b curled out and chin shd touch the breast lactation consultant can help
