ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, try to give few sips of water in between and after meals. Breast milk and food also contain water and fulfils the hydration needs of your baby. A good way to check if baby is adequate hydration is to check the urine. If baby is passing urine more than 6 to 8 times in 24 hours and urine is colourless or light yellow in colour then baby is getting adequate hydration.
