Q.

#asktheexperts My 17months baby is not at all drinking water.She is having food and breast milk.Please suggest how to increase drinking water habit to her

A. Keep trying. Babies rarely drink much. If babies are not interested to drink plain water, fluids in the form of milk, juices, any flavoured juice can be given to create the interest to drink fluids.

A. introduce water with spoon and let baby play with water in glass. then slowly show baby how to drink water with glass. baby will try to replicate.

A. Hi Mommy Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc Give healthy protein rich nutritious food take seasonal fruits and vegetables which is rich in all minerals and vitamins maintain hydration
