#asktheexperts my 16th day newborn is having small boils on his face and over the body and more on his private part.. please suggest what can be done.. is it normal?

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist3 days agoA. Namaste Mom, Well that is due to the new environment the baby body getting used to , gradually that should settle down in a few days on its own. but in case there is water or puss formation, please get the baby examined.

NikitaMom of 2 children3 days agoA. This happens due to clothes fabric and it is normal. Use Pediatrician recommended lotion and try to maintain hygiene. Add sanitizer without fail while washing baby clothes and beds.

You can use calamine lotion but honestly without looking at a picture it will be very difficult to see and understand what can be the reason behind it which is why I’m going to advise you to kindly take a physical assessment with your doctor one time
