#asktheexperts my 10 year old’s hba1c keeps fluctuating like 5.9,6.1..his fasting and post meal sugars are normal. He is lean,active and bmi is also fine with no family history of diabetes. His height is 143 cm and weight 34.5 kg. Is it due to growth hormones?

A. hi mom please check with the doctors who have suggested to do hba1c usually it is checked with patients having diabetes to check 3 months sugar average stay safe and healthy

A. Doctor did not ask to get his hba1c done.. it was an annual check up that we do for entire family..
