#asktheexperts most of the time I hv 2 use diaper for my daughter... m very much tensed regarding this. How to keep her safe from UTI?

A. Baby diapering is very important where specific precautions are necessary. Baby skin is very tender and soft specially in the genital area where frequent urination and motion may be a increase risk factors for bacterial infection . you need to change the diaper frequently in such condition to avoid prolonged contact and friction which can cause rash . A regulear mousturisation with a petrolium jelly or a diaper rash cream is required . try to use disposable diapers as they are betdter absorbent than cloth one. Dont use diapers all the time for 24 hrs. keep some diaper free interval .

A. Excessive usage of diaper also can create UTI and you have to always maintain proper cleanliness and hygiene down Under because sometimes when you don’t maintain hygiene or you use diapers all the time that is what can create UTI to a child.
