Q.

#asktheexperts Ideal iron intake for baby 1yr old.. as per supplements 5ml is 30mg of elemental iron ... is it enough or too much?

A. given as per requirement . dosage will be decided by dr the child is suffering from anaemia due to iron deficiency so you'll have to give food which is rich in iron and like cereals pulses apple banana as well as green leafy vegetables and beetroot. also you will have to start iron supplements and it would consist of iron folic acid and vitamin b12 and take follow up every month with the doctor

A. hi but why are you giving it ? is it prescribe by your pediatrician ? mam ,as per my opinion,if your child looks happy and active, gains enough weight, achieve age appropriate milestones then no need of extra medicines.
