#AskTheExpert my pediatrician has suggested iron drops for my 4 month old daughter, as per him all kids who are on breastfeeding should be given iron supplement. please advise should i give her or breastfeeding is enough ? he has suggested tonoferone drops .5ml twice

A. there is no need of any iron drop for the baby if not advised by doctor only vitamin D is given to baby till one year of age .1 ml can be given on daily basis
