Q.

#asktheexperts Iam 2 months pregnant, and my 6 week ultrasound showed that I have a subchorionic clot and advised me for bed rest as the rate for miscarriage is marginally high in such cases. Iam worried!! Please tell me the reason for such clot? Will it cause any harm to me or my baby? How long will this clot stay???

A. Most of the times with medications and rest the clot will resolve and reduce in size and many times may also go away completely. Very rarely it may increase in size. Don’t worry about it be stress-free and get a scan after two weeks or soWrite Your Answer Here
