#asktheexperts Iam 2 months pregnant, and my 6 week ultrasound showed that I have a subchorionic clot and advised me for bed rest as the rate for miscarriage is marginally high in such cases. Iam worried!! Please tell me the reason for such clot? Will it cause any harm to me or my baby? How long will this clot stay???

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Most of the times with medications and rest the clot will resolve and reduce in size and many times may also go away completely.
