#asktheexperts I am having cholestrol issues labelled as Dyslipidemia.. My cardiologist is suggesting me to take statins... I am in my 9th month of Pregnancy but as per my Gynae statins might harm the baby but as per Cardiologist they are a must... What should i do??? (My cholestrol level is 263 as per latest test)

A. Mam you are hardly left with any time to your delivery so you can just check with your gynaecologist if there is a possibility to have a little early delivery if you’re going to have a C-section or something because the medicine if your cardiologist is saying are important then you should actually not skip on them
