This is very important for building the immunity also.
Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common.
Supplements like iron supplementts and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite.
Diet counselling is also very important .

however, certain lifestyle factors that can help your child reach his maximum Genetic height potential.
for example
give balanced diet especially lean meat, beans, dairy products,green veggies etc
give enough sun exposure daily
encourage your child to do activities like cycling, stretching, jumping, basketball etc
