Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examdination. steam inhalation will be bevneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

You should go ahead with giving proper medicines Shunte Chai which is what is going to be important in order to deal with the situation because you do seasonal change won the things happen you have to go ahead with a proper course of medication associated with the issue
