ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. hi jbavoid cold climate, cold winds. give plenty of feeds , adequate rest to the baby. indirect steam , hot water bath will also help. consult your paediatrician if baby is feeding less, excessively drowsy or if cold increases. post illness babies might be cranky , irritable. nose block congestion also result in loss of appetite, difficult sucking. try different head up feeding position. feed by spoon otherwise. Maintain hygiene. if bottle feeding, maintain sterility as its a common source of infections.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. hi good morning it is advisable to avoid any exposure to cold air and in the changing whether it is more important to be careful apart from that if the child is dependent on the mother for milk the mother should restrained from cold things because it will affect the baby through the mother
