#asktheexperts hi sir my boy have continuously cold from 4 months after using syrup 5 or 6 days feel better and then started again cold please give the solution and advise

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold . here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever . it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely. dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not izmproving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer. allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and swxeet food also. body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. Hey parent, Turmeric is known to treat viral infections such as cough and cold due to its antiseptic properties. Make a glass of warm milk with turmeric powder and give it to the child every night. It relieves a sore throat and a runny nose right away. Milk provides energy to the child since it is high in calcium.
