Q.

#AsktheExperts hi dr .my boys having high fever 102_103 only at night since 3 days he is active at day time with very mild fever can I do blood test? is it serious concern pleas suggest thanks and regards please siggest

A. If you taken temperature correct method with thermometer it is less than 100 degrees F it's normal . otherwise give syp paracetamol in proper dose, for 3 more days.. If no improvement Consult your pediatrician for trying to find out the cause of fever and get some tests done as needed

A. Yes You should definitely go ahead with the blood test because of course if the fever hasn’t subsided in three days then I think it is some another issue that your child is having it could be a viral infection or viral fever so definitely blood test is going to reveal better about it
