#AskTheExpert Daughter having high fever 103+ with chills at night and having enlarged tonsil. We have started giving antibiotics and one cood shower at night when fever is high. Should cold shower be given?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. your child is suffering from tonsilo pharangitis with needs proper antibiotic treatment so if you are giving you can continue with that and also follow the advise given by the doctor

Yes yes absolutely it can be given because it really helps a lot in reducing down the temperature in mediately this is one of the best ways to reduce down the high body temperature and 103 is very very high I suggest if you haven’t visited the doctor four for the test please do that as well
