#asktheexperts Hey.. I recently had influenza b virus. Was admitted in hospital for the treatment. now I am in recovery phase doctor has prescribed glutathione plus vit c supplement. I am breastfeeding my 6 months old. is it safe for nursing women to take glutathione?

A. dear Mum if the supplement has been prescribed by the doctor with the knowledge that you are Breastfeeding then it should not be a problem always inform your doctor that you are a breastfeeding mother

A. If your doctor was aware that you are a breastfeeding mother and still these medicines are suggested then you should take them and if you had not informed your doctor then you’ll have to reach check with them because most of the medicines are recommended the casual ones that you can take but if there is specific medicine it’s always better to check with your doctor
