#asktheexperts Hello, my baby is 9 months old and she is having heavy cold. Can I use nebulizer? If yes can you please suggest the name of it?

ExpertDr Priyashree Mukherjee ChakrabortyPaediatrician1 Year agoA. As per new recommendations, home nebulisation is no longer safe and hence not recommended. This is to be done exclusively in hospital supervision. However, you can give some medication in recommended doses as prescribed by your paediatrician

TrishikaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. dear mom yes you can give nebulization at home,it Wil not cause harm...upto one year of age you can do nebulization of your baby with normal saline only and you can take 3ml.....hope your child to be f9 soon
