POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl4 years agoA. Try to feed fresh, home cooked, nutritious foods to baby from the very beginning as much as possible for healthy growth and development. Include variety of foods like lentils, rice with dal, chapati with paneer gravy, chicken soup, besan and beetroot cheela, idli-dosa with sambhar, stuffed parantha, oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, seasonal fruits, veg cutlet, veg sandwich, omelette, boiled egg, chicken and fish curry with rice, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, dalia, waffle, pan cakes, etc. alongwith lots of fluids like water, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk and coconut water.
Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks. Limit sugar, fried and packaged foods intake.
