Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and accordintg to the type of cough its prescribed.
if andy fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

What the weather is not like that that the child is going to feel cold but there could be some another issue that you are unable to understand so I would advise you to monitor the behavioural pattern of your child carefully to find out what could possibly be the reason and then you can just go ahead with working on that
