By 2.5 - they start small sentences two words combinations around 50-80 words. Proper sentence three words by 3-4 years. Observe baby speaking skills if baby responding to simple commands and speaking small words basic words 30-50 giving eye contact then nothing to worry. Talk to your baby and story telling , giving commands mingling with kids , helps avoid using more than one language and screen time.
