#AskTheExpert what is the best medicine to give infants for general cold... As my baby is 6 months old and he gets cold and cough at frequent intervals..

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 6 months old now to relieve cold give steam inhalation warm massage to chest and apply vicks baby vaporub on chest and give lukewarm water and milk with honey and if required give maxtra drops 0.5 ml

For the dosage age and weight are important. So it is advised to first consult a pediatrician and then give a medicine.
