Whenever introducing semi solid foods in baby's diet between the age of 5-6 months, always start slow with 4-6 spoons per serving and twice a day. You can feed foods like lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, carrot and pear puree, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, ragi and sooji porridge, home made cerelac, etc. Introduce one food at a time for atleast 3 days at stretch to notice any food allergy.
