#asktheexpert there are few red spots on my baby leg m nt sure that they were birth marks as i saw her full on 4th day of birth.. will they go someday . they r not painful but they r growing as legs are growing

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Red Colour Rash over the body if present could be some allergy rashes which may be of sudden onset along with itching.
or it could be viral exanthematous rash where the the onset of rashes is there along with fever or assosiated symptoms. and it could be some infection also which needs proper exagmination.
Application of calamine lotion or Anti itch lotion liktte Ritch lotion can be done for soothing along with antiallergic medications initially.

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom..if they remain post one year they will remain forever..but in some cases they can fade away in first year. if in doubt please consult your paediatrician for proper diagnosis and treatment.
