#asktheexpert The baby has a cold since two days, what would be the best for the baby?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper exafhmination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

Sinarist af drops you can give it through 3 times in the day 10 drops each time along with that you can also use saline water that helps in opening up the nasal passage for the child so that is something that also you can use if you want that is also going to be beneficial for the child
