#asktheexpert my younger child is 3 month old. It was a c section delivery. can I start exercising now?

A. After delivery you should take rest for at least 3 months and then after that you can start with regular daily walking followed by mild exercise after a few days and then slowly move on for heavy workouts after 7 months

A. Not right now after C-section you should wait for at least six months before you go ahead with a brisk walk and proper exercise and should be done after about 8 to 10 months of delivery when your internal stitches heal completely so you should take a clarity with your doctor for that
