#asktheexpert . my son suffering from cold. at night he's finding difficult in breathing any suggestions ? baby is 9 months old .

A. my 8 month old daughter suffering from cold and cough. doctor suggested to give t mini drop but pharmacy they had given maxtra syrup is this safe to give maxtra in place of t minic

A. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment cornsists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation wourrld be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
