ExpertDr. Gunjan BawejaPaediatrician4 years agoA. hello all the newborns pass green stools sometimes black for initial few days called meconuim and later this changes to yellow. and so don't worry about it and continue phototherapy till advised.

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good morning Green poo is fine not an issue. Po color shouldn't be black or red anytime. The color doesn't matter much always check for consistency. If consistency is watery or foamy or smelly then it is important to check with your doctor.. I feel and suggest It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
