#asktheexpert my son is 1 yr old from yesterday he is sneezing twice in 30 mins due to cold. could you please suggest any drops

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is thhere paracetamol can be given to reduce the temyperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
