Q.

#asktheexpert my newborn baby was tested for jaundice as her eyes turned yellow on 3rd of her birth & the result was 16.9mg/dl. Now her discoloration is 95% clear do we need repeat the test and what are the measures to b taken .

A. The doctor would tell you whether you need to repeat the test or not and after taking a discharge you should keep your child into indirect sunlight for at least 30 to 40 minutes every day for better option of vitamin D and if there is even a little bit of trace left of jaundice that is also going to reduce down with that
