#asktheexpert newborn baby has light yellow eyes, the test for jaundice after birth was fine. below 12. kindly suggest if any remedy before things escalate

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. having jaundice within first few days of life is very common you just need to give photo therapy to the baby which will help cure it and also give daily early morning Sun exposure for 10 to 15 minutes
do take care to give adequate breastfeeding to maintain proper hydration during this time

It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly
