#AskTheExpert my girl 61 days old baby..she had cold more than 2 weeks ...pedi told its mild cold and advc only vit c dropss..but it was not okay till now...45 days vaccine was skiped

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
st cfeam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

Saline solution is the only safe nasal spray for babies, infants, and toddlers. To use saline solution, lay the baby down on their back and, if possible, slightly tilt their head back (don't force it, though).
