Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is having severe constipation from last 2 days. She is trying to pass but could not. We have given her fruit juices and consulted a paedetrician here who gave us Lactose Syrup 10ml every day for relieving constipation. I wanted to know best remedies for babies, and does giving syrups for constipation good in babies? Also, is suppository (Enema) okay for babies? any other advice do share

A. glycerine suppository occasionally to the baby bh Constipation is very common in babies you have to modify the food which is more in fibre like green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits like apple mango papaya banana etc
