#AskTheExpert my daughter is going to be 4 in March, from last year since she had covid she has constant and recurrent cold and cough every month, now she has enlarged tonsils, both side of neck get swollen during cold and return to normal size but she has enlarged tonsils which can be felt in both sides of neck, I have shown to 2-3 doctors one phyciscian one to pediatrician and ayurvedic dr also they all have said me it's normal child keep getting this it's only enlarged tonsils nothing else, just want to confirm is it normal, my child is active foody and doesn't has any other problem

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along witch that cough expectorant and ddecongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
