#AskTheExpert my daughter is 2.5 yea4s.shw often gets cold and cough...we are from hilly area.she eats well and is active.

A. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /nigvht and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. there is a possibcility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization

Keep your baby away from anyone who's sick. ...Wash your hands before feeding or touching your baby. ...Clean your baby's toys and pacifiers often. ...Teach everyone in the household to cough or sneeze into a tissue.
