Q.

#AskTheExpert My daughter is 1.5 years old but she does not eat anything. her appetite is Zero. only has milk. Kindly advice some medicine to increase and develop her appetite.. thank you.

A. loss of appetite can be due to nutritional deficiency So meet your doctor regarding it it is advisable to continue our efforts in feeding the child. many times it take more efforts from the parents to make the child eat nutritious food so kindly go for different recipes and flavours which might improve the appetite of the child but at the same time it is also important to meet your doctor to rule out nutritional deficiency which might be the cause of loss of appetite. Give juice fruits and water which will improve appetite and regular physical activity..

A. I Think your child is low on haemoglobin level which is why your child’s appetite is like a almost zero like you were saying only having milk so you should just get a check with your doctor because doctor can only give you an assurance whether it is due to lack of haemoglobin level or something else
