Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Eye Redness is commonly seen because of some allergic condition , infection or any trauma which needs proper examination. if it is associated with some discharge it could be.k infection but no self medication should be used.
if the baby is continuously rubbing the eye or there is any swelling it indicates irritation and inflammation for which you need to you get your baby clinically examined so consult your doctor once.

Clean It properly and regularly with water on all regular basis like every 2 to 3 hours because that way sometimes if anything is wrong with the eyes of dirt or something it will get clean but still if it does not become better in a day or two then you should definitely be consulting your paediatrician and get it checked
