#asktheexpert my daugher is having lite cold because i am suffering from viral... plz suggest what should i do... my daughter is 2moths and 16 days old

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be givxeen in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

U Use a mask at least when you are feeding the child or when you are close to the fire child also I’m going to advise you to consult your paediatrician for that because your child is too small you are suffering from a viral maybe your child also has got an infection from you the doctor would be able to advise you correctly with the correct medicine
