#AskTheExpert my babybis having cold and i am giving nasoclear drops, still cold is there, what to do?

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatmefdnt accordingly along width a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. maam your baby is too small. you should give any medicine only after consulting your pediatrician. do not try any home remedy. nasoclear is just saline drops to clear the nose. apart from that baby may need some medicine. please consult your pediatrician itself once and get the baby.
